How did you turn of the title text?

 

First of all the Zidoo MP can't play DVD-Audio at all and it never could. Please read Chapter-8 here:

I know it is confusing but DVD-Audio uses MLP compression which is NOT supported by any media player I know. When you can play them they are Hybrid with also some DVD-Video compatible audio tracks on them. Most are hybrid but not all (like with SACD).

Just tried 24-bit at 48, 88.2, 96, 192 kHz and all played just fine using the UHD3000 DAC via MP6. So can't confirm. Sampling Rate Control set to "Native sampling rate" which in fact is gapless too but for a playlist with identical format for all songs.

Using The DAC with BD's using the Video Player is another thing. In fact never do that as I then prefer the Multi-Channel sound mostly available via HDMI.
Tried a Pure Audio BD with stereo sound only for that and then I can reproduce your problem. In fact it happens not only for 2.0 PCM but also for 2.0 DD True HD. Only 2.0 DTS MA HD is not affected. Using HDMI all formats do work.
I don't think the problem is actually new for this FW release?

 

During playback, push menu button on the remote then go to Advanced > More settings > Show video names... Click OK to turn off.

 

Yes it does, but there is still a lipsync error with MP4 which I'm sure will get sorted next week.

 

Home theatre 4.0.58 is broken. It’s only able to find 160 titles out of 600 during the scan. Even movies like alien it will not find in tmdb even though it exists. I tried to match it with alien, alien (1979) and nothing comes up. I even tried Godzilla to see if I would get something, and I get nothing. Everything is ripped as folder structures. Some titles folders are grouped into one folder. Star Wars for example to keep it organized. The scanning never really stops even if I tell it to stop. I thought clearing the database and starting over might resolve it but it stops finding posters and data at 160 titles.

The player is wired into the network by cable and it sees the movie share. I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. I’ve picked the folder and the initial scan of all the folders is very quick and you can see it add posters and data to each title at a slower pace, but it always stops at 160 titles. I’m at a loss now.

 

My Z9X is not showing the online update :-( oh just saw not distributed anymore. In China are now working labor holidays, so needed to wait.

Just found this. Can use the Zidoo as a device to play Spotify, Airplay and DLNA.

This works great for me as I have the Fotoo screen saver. So now can play Spotify via the Zidoo while enjoying a digital photo show.
