Hi ICU2018 been using Kodi or ZDMC 18.8 a lot lately with an add on as been pretty stable for my useage Cant comment on LG screens but there is a thread on what is causing issues .
I upload a video. (24sec) Profile 7 mel file. I think shutter is like this. Will zidoo team able to solve this problem? Robin.Hood.2018.UHD.BluRay.2160p.TrueHD.Atmos.7.1.DV.HEVC.REMUX-.mkv
Correct zdmc 18.8 is the one i use Not tested the other later official kodi versions . But possible Zidoo may support later ones .
Question: Are you able to share what are the benefits of using zdmc vs the default media center? Sorry for the noob q...
According to Kodi they share the same : Download apk Kodi v19.0 Beta 1 for Android 64bit ARM V8A, only for NVidia Shield TV, Realtek and some Rockchip SoC’s.
Do you mean HT or Media Player? If you mean media player then in ZDMC you can get almost full Kodi functionality, add ons, FTP access, Plex add on, superior scraping with Universal Movie Scraper etc.
Its user preference H.T.v4 is eye candy for your Movie poster collection Media player is sort of like windows Explorer Zdmc is Zidoo working version of Kodi .
Yup, same issue here. Happen regularly. I think there is a thread on this though..but I have issue with DTS mkv too
I don't like untouched ISO's. Can't live with the "look & feel" of the subtitles, if I want to watch them. I always edit subtitles for movies (I do this for 2D too, btw). Additionally, it saves harddrive space if you save movie only, deleting audio-, substreams and extra's I don't want.
Ok but I share 2 pictures from Z9S (not z9x) which one is good? What dou you think? Because It shows very good 4:2:0 but it has microsutter when I set 60hz. When I set 24hz this time I cant set 4:2:0
Use these settings and all will be good: Zidoo Z9S ========= Playback/Automatic frame rate/Frame rate mode: Switch frame rate and resolution Display/HDMI Mode: 3840x2160p 23Hz Display/HDR: Auto Display/Advanced settings/Deep Color Mode: 10-bit Display/Advanced settings/Color Space Mode: YCbCr 444 Display/Advanced settings/HDMI Range Mode: 16-235* Audio/HDMI Audio: RAW Audio/Downmix HD Audio output: OFF * Auto works fine too, but I prefer to set discretely
I was tried before. But I try again When I set zidoo 4.2.0 image has jumped next level I write picture’s above color space mode You can see differents
Yes - I can see a difference but if all other settings are the same, there should be no difference. As I said, you cannot use 4:2:0 with 23/24/25fps - it is an illegal HDMI mode - there are no devices that support it.
I understand you. This is from nvidia shield. Maybe showing it wrong. I am note sure. Thanks your asisst
You can choose those in the "Filter by..." options but if you try and choose YUV 420 and 24Hz together you'll see Display Modes "0" at the bottom: Honestly, I'm not making it up - 4K23~30 4:2:0 is an illegal HDMI mode
I have just ripped Disc 1 of the Extended Edition version of Fellowship of the Ring (using MakeMKV 1.15.3). As others have observed it stutters and lags after 5 minutes of playback on Zidoo. I have the same problem with The Matrix and Attack of the Clones. I've always use ZDMC with Zidoo player, so I decided to do an experiment. I change the player to Kodi's native player. It very slightly stutters at start (very acceptable), but then stabilizes and plays on for without any issues. I don't have time to play the whole movie, but I also tested The Matrix and Attack of the Clones and it passed as well. So this is very likely just Zidoo player, which I think can be fixed with a firmware update. Only downside for using Kodi's native player is you will not get Dolby Vision ever. PS: Speaking of Dolby Vision (which I know very little about), I read here that Zidoo cannot decode Profile 7, is this correct? But playing Fellowship of the Ring using using Zidoo player, Dolby Vision triggers on my TV. Anyone know what profile is the Dolby Vision for this disc, or is it MEL or FEL?
