x 6 firmware img to download.

Hello can some one tel me where i can download firmware img to flash my zidoo x6.

I have a black screen on start up.No signal on tv.

Yes but for flashing i need a img file..And recover x6..so dont need to update becauce i can not see nothing on the screen..Need a flash

 

Turn it on pushing reset at same time, you will have option to update via zip file on your usb stick.

Zidoo doesn't release their firmware as .img files. It seems to be their way of protecting it from piracy. But Minix demonstrated a long time ago that zip file installations are unreliable, leave traces of old firmware behind and lead to run-time problems. Minix underlines that the cleanest installations are those done by flashing .img images.

Thanks for pointing that out - I somehow missed it. This is great, and frees us from the limitations of the zip file.

Update: flashing the img seems to have fixed some lag and a few other glitches I was experiencing. Way to go!

 

i am getting
wait for loader fail...it doesnt flashing

 

Can some zidoo engineer help me out..tryed to flash..But the box is in maskrom and getting wait for loader failed. .
