New version v6.4.68 for Z9X/Z10 Pro/Z1000 Pro/UHD3000/NEOS /NEO Alpha/NEO X release

I flashed the latest firmware, and the icon, the font and the posters look so HUGE and look like this in 480p resolution instead of uhd resolution, what is broken here?

on the screenshot you can't see it so well, the icons are definitely twice as big and the edges are frayed. i checked the resolution, everything is as usual

Use the screenshot app in the Zidoo - Assign one of the colour keys to Screen Shot using the Shortcut Keys app.

Screen shots are saved in Storage/Pictures

 

the icons seem huge because for some reason the developers decided to make them rectangular - this is why you can now see 5, not 7. there are a lot of complaints about this. and the square ones apparently won’t be returned.

Home front page of new the Home Theater 5 before you get into poster wall. Those category icons are big now like a mirror of the small phone screen. They could be a lot smaller if rectangular are preferred.

 

What I meant was lost my interest and respect with such a dumb comment.

In such an instance I do the online equivalent of rolling my eyes, shaking my head, shrugging and walking away.

We really need an emoji for that... be a lot easier.

 

So does this now allow NFO refreshing so that you don't have to delete your whole database and rescan everything every time you make changes?

 

I didn't mean you, but that the new icons are now larger (rectangular)

 

NFO refresh is being added at the moment - it's not quite there yet, but it is being worked on.

Whether it'll be available for older boxes, I really don't know - it depends on code dependencies.

Question for z9x owners- has the bug with resolution and framerate matching for 1.37:1 (aka 4:3) content been addressed?

Example - play a 1080p 1.37:1 (4:3) file with match resolution and framerate on will wrongly output 2160p on f/w 6.4.65

No, not yet.

 

They should release it for the entire RTD1619DR range soon

 

After a few days with 6.4.68, it's generally not bad at all....but yesterday again noticed annoying bugs.......as soon as we start to use HT5 a little, for example, change of covers or wallpapers, it freezes and returns to the main HT page.
So maybe again the lack of internal memory?
