New firmware v1.4.6 version for ZIDOO X9S released

    The latest update practically bricked my box, trying to do a factory reset / install original firmware, pressing the reset button with a pin, then starting the box, it remains hung at the zidoo logo.
    So how can I do it?

    hi i cant doo any hard reset too on my box
    last time i have activate by mistake the lock box password, and when booting there was only a black screen
    after alots of reboot and minutes i have notice i was still seeing the cursor mouse there
    with this i have manage too answer the lock and go back too the box and disable the lock screen so my box don't go too a black screen box
    does your box boot in a black screen,you still see your mouse cursor there
    or just a boot with logo?

    After factory reset, does knocking sound still persists when pausing?

    Weather app is broken in mine too. But I can live without knowing the weather on my screen as long as it stills plays movies without a hiccup.

    Stuck at Zidoo logo when I press reset pin. When I dont press it, I wrote what happens.

    I asked for a refund by threatening my reseller with a lawsuit, for selling me a crap product,so lets hope....

    I had a lot of boxes like the unfortunate Open Hour Chameleon (wich have never get a usefuel running Android system) and the X9S is by far the best box i had, even in aspect of releasing new firmwares.

    X9S FW 1.4.6 bugs report:

    First) External subtitle .SRT has a minor bug.

    E.g. if the content of a xxx.srt file is:
    1
    00:00:34,300 --> 00:00:39,300
    This is Line 1

    2
    00:03:12,590 --> 00:03:17,500
    This is Line 2

    3
    ...............



    The first subtitle display on the screen will become
    1
    This is Line 1
    (The numeric character '1' should not be displayed)


    Second) After upgraded to 1.4.6, a message "unknown audio format" will be displayed on the upper left hand corner for a few seconds occasionally, however the audio is perfectly okay for the whole movie.

    Any clue?

    Another concern about the subtitle, is the correct display of some tag like the <i>
    As said earlier, italic subtitle are displayed <i>hello</i> instead of hello.

    If it is a External subtitle will display "hello".
    About Built-in srt subtitle display <i>sample</i> will solve in next version.

    OK,will check it.about the "audio format not support" message is a known issue,will solve it in next version.Thanks.

    Activation of HDMI-CEC, reboot of the console, poweroff of the console, poweron of the console - the total reset of the default language settings.

    If you have set your language through the settings menu on the right hand side it will not be saved as your standard language. You should set your language etc. by using the quick set-up.

    I have the same error message "audio format not support"...the audio seems to be playing fine though.
