New firmware v1.4.6 version for ZIDOO X9S released

I do not see other errors, but I cannot do anything with the box, I see only this error, and every time I press OK, it comes back up again.
MAC adress on back of the box is: 800A805A35A4

 

Happened to me as well. Weather app is broken.

What a disapointment.
All the bugs are still here,
Internal srt subs still not showing correct. ( </i>hello</i> )
Zdmc crashes 75% of every start.
NO screensaver when pauze.
Some 16.9 aspect showing in 4.3
Movie stutter (looks like slow motion) in web-dl movie with dd 5.1 every 20 or 30 minutes.
Srt subtitels with 3d mvc still showing in 2d and not responding to subtitle deph setting.
NFS only play ip adres, no hostname (bad with no static nas settings).
Dolby TrueHD/Atmos is now "unknown audio format"

How can you release such a bad firmware? Unbelieveble!

 

I have x8 and i have same movie shutter with web-dl dd5.1. I don't now if this happen with xmdc with out the external player, I hope the next update fix this issue.

 

For me, this firmware is very good!

 

Tried it last night. Pausing the movie didn't give any strange sound. But once I resumed, audio was out of sync. It's less than a second but I can feel it. It required another pause (about 5-10 seconds), then it was back to normal.

 

To me 1.3.0 is far better than 1.4.4
Usb3.0 never disconnected, external sub always works.

I am not sure if I should up to 1.4.6
Will probably wait and see

 

Does this only happen to me? This only happens in videos with sound format dts hd master and trueHD

 

I am going to rollback this firmware to the previous one.

Quiet a few new problems in this release but at same time somf of the previous problems have been fixed but then they didn't effect me.

 

Try resetting your unit after update (beware that all settings are gone). I reset my unit after every update. Luckily I don't have many setting to do after.

 

Because zdmc 17,it does not play properly,There is somewhere the apk from zdmc 16;

 

If I resetting the unit, it will not delete the update?

 

Upgraded without problems. Will report problems encountered when using it. The Weather APP

No a Factory Reset only cleans up all ADD-ON's, Data and Settings. You probably need to re-install ZDMC as that is installed as an ADD-ON too.

Thanks for the update. The installation of the Zidoo software went fine.

However, I'm trying to update ZDMC to 17.1 with the pre-installed APK installer, but it keeps on saying: "cannot install APK".
It is necessary to uninstall the old version in order to install the new one? I would like to keep all my settings etc so preferably not

Well, I think I solved the problem with the reset, thank you Theeraphon for the tip

 

What do you mean about the not play properly?
I didn't installed yet (only the firmware), but I would like to know before I do it - ZMDC 16 is working fine with me.

 

The ApkInstaller says that is already installed - but it isn't!
So do we need to remove the ZDMC 16 before install the 17?
