    Hi
if you set the system language Russian - Weather in the app finds the city to display weather, but then shows the message lookup fails, choose another city.
otherwise if the system language is English - all ok.

When you install an SD card or use SATA connection to connect a HD how do you set up the drive so the OS and all the apps take advantage of the extra memory? I installed a 64 GB SD card but the X9-s still only uses the 16 GB internal memory.
    Any advice?? Thx! :)

for SD card, you can format it as internal memory from android settings. But some report this feature as bugged, not sure if it was fixed or not.

as for HDD, you don't. Most of them see the hdd connected and can read from it. To write, depends on the aplication.

    Hello,

first thanks for the 1.2.4 release.

Unfortunately there are still a few big and small problems.

    - The LAN connection flip again and again from 1000 Mbit to 100 Mbit. To the fixed I must always restart my Fritzbox (router).

    - No Deep Color on my "LG Electronics 65EC970V". If I activate "HDMI UHD DEEP COLOUR" always comes the message that the input signal is incompatible. With the HIMEDIA ™ Q10 PRO, this works without problems.

    - Can the subtitles be switched off completely by default? When does one ever need subtitles ;)

Would be nice if there is a solution approach to the problems.

Is this a Beta release? Why isn't available Online Update? When is it available Online through Zidoo X9S?

    Please, keep calm.
Zidoo (usually) make a new FW release Online available when "enough" stable and "debugged" (yes, I know, now a lot of angry users come up groaning, but I don't care...).
Neither 1.2.3 nor 1.2.4 are stable enough.

Yes.. there is still a bug.. sd card will not format as internal memory and error messages pop up. Can this be fixed???

When viewing the .m2ts files (Blu-ray) with native player, the size of the image horizontally smaller than the screen, see small vertical black bars on the left and right of the image. BDRIP .mkv shows in full screen. XDMC shows .m2ts files (Blu-ray) in full screen.
