I have a Samsung 60 inch UHDTV series 6800. I also have an MXIII box which works perfectly with the TV.
I'm just going to try it in a small TV in bedroom.
I'll get back to you in a minute

Well, the Zidoo control Screen shows on this TV in the bedroom, a Panosonic TV.
But I bought the Zidoo box specifically for the Samsung TV in the lounge for my home cinema.
    So, What now?

I went into my TV Menu, Picture Options, HDMI UHD Color and set one of the HDMI inputs to UHD 50/60p 4.4.4
    Restarted everything, still green screen.

I get the Zidoo logo, then a green screen

In popular wording EDID stands for "Capabilities Exchange handshake". The player can ask the TV which features it supports exactly. Technically it is slightly more complicated (tracing and logging the EDID dialog), but indeed that is a task for Zidoo.
