Maybe it is becoming too ambitious. My goal was getting just the most confusing/annoying texts out.

If it's for the English/US translation, that's correct, isn't it?

To be honest, I much prefer to get back the choice to use 2 different languages in the GUI and HT. I remember very well how long that was to translate a complete interface. lol

But as I have to use the french translation for the GUI for now (because of the bug), I can see that the translation of the main menus in Quick Settings are too long:

    - Réglages ou Réglages Rapides (Quick Settings)
    - Verrouiller (App Lock)
    - Lecture
    - Affichage
    - Audio
    - Réseau
    - Divers

That would be enough IMHO and displayed without a scrolling text in the GUI.

Yep - I had that one changed too!!

Change your language to "English (UK)"

What is wrong with my approach? I'm asking because nobody seems to care. I still think it's the cleanest way for the developer.

Nothing wrong. That's the best way to do it in my point of view.

Just... a very long job to go through all the translation that have to be done and I am lazy for now. :D

In November I posted some grammar errors which Zidoo have actually corrected!
    In Home Theatre -

    On the Poster Wall:
    "MOVIE" is now "MOVIES"
    "COLLECTION" is now "COLLECTIONS"

    In the Settings > Preference:
"Scrap source" is now "Scrape source"

    In the artist Personal History:
"Birthday" is now "Date Of Birth"

So Zidoo are reading our posts and happy to make the corrections :). Well, at least some!

It's a pity that they haven't done the same in Music Player where they are still using the non-existent word "Musics"!

No, we need BOTH. But let's get the simple grammar sorted out now and keep the spreadsheet idea going as a long-term project ?

I have "English UK" set and it works in Home Theater (or should that be Theatre ?) , but in Music Player, clicking on the "heart" icon takes you to "Favorites"

When using the Filter in Home Theater, the heading "AGGREGATION" appears, which is just silly! Perhaps "TYPE" would be better? Can anyone think of a better word ;)?

AGGREGATION is the name of table in the database but the column is called type, so I agree it should be "Type".

Weird thing is, the developer made even typos in the database and in the keys of the language files.
    Eg. confirm is conform

Yes. British English and American English have very different spellings -
USA: Home Theater - UK: Home Theatre
    USA: Color - UK: Colour
    USA: Favorite - UK: Favourite
    USA: Center - UK: Centre
    USA: Organize - UK: Organise
    and hundreds (maybe thousands?) more!!!

Actually it's really a challenge for non native speakers. As an european I usually go for UK english.
