    Thanks you.
What is the difference between VS10 For DV and LLDV.
    And one more question:
If i buy 8K Vrroom I have to connect my soundbar Q990C wich eArc port is HDMI OUT, to Vrroom eArc Arcana port witch is HDMI OUT too.
    Is this will work?
    And THANKS Again

VS10 for DV applies VS10 to DV files only, LLDV converts everything to LLDV.

Is it there any difference how they process DV content or both of them use the RPU data.

RPU is only applicable to DV content.

Not sure what you mean, but there are several ways to connect depending whether you want to use eArc and where in the chain you want the Vrroom - I suggest you ask on AVS forums or on HDFury's Discord server.

I have an LG G4 with Z9X, I use Mark's recommended color settings but when it plays a DV movie with the TV Led setting, I get RGB 8bits and with Player Led it's
YUV422 12 bits BT2020 DV. Can I fix this? Is this normal? Isn't TV Led the best setting?

DV TV Led is RGB 8bits (known as Dolby Vision RGB Tunneling). Most people stick to TV Led, but, as always, let your eyes be the judge.

Is there any custom EDIDs for LG C3 with max brightens of 780 nits? I tried custom edids from the other threads, but I'm just not satisfied with the outcome; it's a tad too bright or dark.

It's 77 inch lg tv that's full calibrated.

The EDID does not set the brightness of the display.

The reference to nits levels you see in EDIDs relates to T-MaxPQ and T-MinPQ in the Dolby block in the EDID which tells the Dolby processor the capabilities of the display and therefore when to start tone mapping.

The EDID from a C3 has the following Dolby Block showing T_MaxPQ as 670nits (nominal):

    DV Version: 2
    DV DM Version: Reserved
    DV Interface: DV + LLDV 12-bit 422
    YUV422 12bit: Not Supported
    Global Dimming: Not Supported
    Backlight Control: Not Supported
    RED Primary: Rx=0.676 Ry=0.320
    GREEN Primary: Gx=0.258 Gy=0.688
    BLUE Primary: Bx=0.148 By=0.051
    MAX/MIN Luminance: 670 / 0.008 nits

I'm experiencing something weird then. I used the edid you provided here: http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/cropped-dolby-vision-with-grey-bars.96106/page-2.

It's weird because 0.000 seems a tad darker in terms of shadow detail and 0.001 seems a tad brighter to me due to more shadow detail. My c3 is fully calibrated so these minor differences are noticeable on my end. I wish there was something to fix all these pesky issues with lg.

Ok - I thought you were having issues that the display was too bright at the top end, not that you had an issue with raised shadow detail.

So yeah, the C3 is odd in that T_MinPQ is relatively high - all I can suggest is use the one that works best between 0.000 and 0.001.

You don't have much choice, I choose the 0.000 edid or the 0.001 edid. I also have the 77 inch C3 and I personally use the 0.000 edid and I can't perceive any difference with the 0.001 edid. Choose whichever you like the most

Does Sony have the same issue? I just want to keep this in mind on the next purchase.

Not that I know of - it's really unusual for LG too - I've only ever seen it on the C3.

There's nothing technically wrong with having T_MaxPQ set to 0.008 as long as it matches the display - ie 0.008 nits corresponds to 16/64 black but it seems in this case it doesn't so that kind of means the EDID is wrong (assuming black level, ie Brightness, is calibrated correctly).

    @Markswift2003
Hi Mark. My uncle has the UHD3000 that I sold him and it is connected to a Benq video projector that is not Dolby Vision but only HDR/HDR10. Is it possible to modify the EDID to force Dolby Vision?

Yes, if you post the EDID.
