That involves adding a VSDB (Vendor Specific Data Block) in the CTA Extension which is way more complicated than just editing an EDID.

It's a 12 or more byte sequence, the structure of which is covered under NDA from Dolby defining multiple parameters relating to DV as in the example below:

    It's a big learning curve.

The first bit, still no idea. The only difference in that EDID is that it supports LLDV. If your signal is LLDV and the HDMI mode is 4K60 it's possible that your HDMI chain is unable to cope with a 600MHz signal.

Yes, LLDV will look awful unless you have some way to put the TV into HDR mode. With Samsungs you need an HDFury device (Vertex 2 or better) to send an HDR10 Infoframe.

I delete some non important resolutions and this give me some space and now everything works perfectly.Somehow my tv can't accept so much data
Is it worth to buy HDFury?

Is this device will get the job done for LLDV.

I think so but I don't know for sure - I never really figured out what the Arcana is designed for .

The key thing it needs to do is this:

If it can do that then yes.

    I'd ask on AVS.

So yes, it looks like it.

The point is to send a custom HDR message if and only if an LLDV input is received - it seems it does that but you can't mess with the parameters too much.

But my advice is to spend a few more $$s on the Vertex 2 (or a Vrroom if you want 8K) - I think the Arcana is a set and forget thing, which of course may suit better, but the Vertex is I believe a lot more flexible, adjustable and brilliant for diagnostics.

No idea where that image is from, possibly extremely early (as in years and years ago!) firmware.
