Yes. Solved thanks to a cable tester and iperf3.exe!! My speed is now about 950 Mbits /sec!

Not sure exactly but when I wired up my son's Home Cinema setup before Christmas, we managed to successfully put Rj45 connectors on to the ends of the Cat7 cables by ripping off the metal sheathing, thus downgrading them to CAT6 cables.

As long as you use decent quality plugs, have a decent ratchet crimper and make sure you get the order of the cores correct it's quite easy but there is a bit of a knack to it.

And it's always handy to have a cheat sheet handy - this is mine (Assumes 568B, which most are)

    Hello every body,

I've the same problem-> transfert file to my internal drive of the Zidoo is 300Mbits Maximum.

I've try all you suggested here. But the same result each time 290-300 Mbits.

I've changed 3 times the cable try with 2 different routers nothing change.

The only thing I cannot do is to make a manufactory reset because I dont know how to make a recovery file of my system.

Zidoo Ethernet is 1GB and Pc is 1GB Connection

    Regards

    Fred

Would you please try to copy some bigger file, like 1Gb from your PC to Zidoo and then from Zidoo to PC in Windows environment and watch little popup window where transfer rate will be shown in MB/s which is not the sam as Mbps and then calculate your outcome. I use CAT 7 cable, 10m long and TP Link switch and my speeds are arround 900-950 or 80-90 MB/s mbps. It could change your situation if you put static IP also.

Would you try to set Static IP in Zidoo ethernet using Settings/Network/Ethernet then turn off Auto (DHCP) and fill all other fields with your network data from picture above and press button Connect. For instance your IP Address is 192.168.98, Gateway should be 192.168.0.1, Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and use DNS address 109.88.203.3

It is very important that you setup Static IP addresses in all of your equipment like PC or servers where network communication is performing. After that, turn off all your equipment (power off completely) and power them on, one by one, starting with router.

All details I saw on your picture above, you can use other Static IP address in accordance with your needs.

    Hi,

    I've made what you said.

    Change ip and DNS

Pc network Ip fixed and Zidoo Ip fixed

    Same result. Very Slow.

Hard reset of the Zidoo ?

Before hard reset, look for newest firmware first and try to use CAT5e cable or better.

Have you tried turning off small buffering option in Settings => Realtek Developer Options?

Hello, not for the moment. I'll try that.

    Not found this settings.

Go to infomation > Realtek but only Audio and Video settings.
