Z9x: Netflix was working, now error 1044

Netflix may have banned Zidoo devices?

 

Same issue, looks like Netflix banged Zidoo Device

 

I got a reply from the Zidoo support team;

Zidoo engineers has noticed the problem and will try best to fix it asap.
Pls wait for update.

 

Ik have seen the same happening with my Dinobot Media player. It imitated being a Shield and got banned (getting banged is something entirely different ) .

Same issue happened to me on my Z9X running v6.0.30_G based in Hong Kong without any VPN....

 

Ahoj mám také tento problém, Zidoo Z1000PRO Netflix hlásí chybu 1044. Zařízení se obnoví do továrního nastavení, paměť je vymazána, odpojena po dobu 3 minut. Je zajímavé, že pokud si stáhnete aplikaci pro telefony a tablety netflix-7-84-1-build-28-35243.apk nahrát pomocí webového rozhraní funguje. Bohužel tato aplikace není vhodná pro tento přehrávač, velmi složité ovládání. Původní rozbitá aplikace je postavena pro smart TV a vynikající pro tento přehrávač. Vyřešil jsem problém přímo s Netflix a problém bude, že android obsažené v Zidoo není google certifikován. Bude nějaký lék ze Zidoova stanu ????

I called her support to find out more about this issue. Primarily, Zidoo is not as a certified device on Netflix, but until 6.1.2021 Netflix worked fine. I did all sorts of troubleshooting, but nothing helped so I called Netflix Support. Unfortunately, I didn't know anything. The problem is on the side of ZIDOO .... :-(

 

Zidoo support answer to me that they know about the problem and working hard on it.....

Before it was working also without a agreement with Netflix, zidoo used a cracked version..... Let's hope they can fix it

 

I can't judge. According to Netflix, there are more uncertified devices and they work. I'm afraid this is not only a problem with Netflix but overall with GOOGLE and device certification :-(

Honestly I don’t care.
I prefer to have streaming device

 

If I’m not mistaken, Netflix doesn’t ban uncertified devices, but downgrades video to standard definition. Maybe they found out about Zidoo breaking the resolution limit.

Myself I use Z9X purely for my BD rips only.

 

They don't ban Zidoo now, the requested HD movie simply gives an error haha when starting play. For me this is called a ban too.

Watching Netflix in SD with Stereo sound you must be kidding. I frankly don't understand their policy unless sponsored heavily by the TV manufacturers.

 

pro mě Netflix nefunguje vůbec v žádném rozlišení - hlásí chybu 1044 je špatné začít přehrávat v jakékoli kvalitě.
