ZIDOO X6 Support 3D and 7.1 ch in kodi

I am 100% sure it's not the Yamaha RX-A1050 I bet other people with other receivers have the same problems.

It's the RAW HDMI output.

I tested with at least 3 programs, ALL of them revert to PCM.

All of them.

I have another box HiMedia Q5. It doesn't happens there.
HiMedia H8 doesn't have that problem either.

It's this box's HDMI RAW output that somehow gets reset when switching input in the receiver.

I tried HDMI Control On/Off, Video Processing On/Off, all the resolutions, upscale on/off, HDMI through, every single option on the receiver.

It's the box.

I want to know if you have set the Audio →HDMI Bitstream in system (SETTING→Sound & notification→Audio Output→HDMI Bitstream or Spdif Passthrough) to set,then you can use the local videoplayer in which mode at your receiver. if ok, enter kodi and set passthrough play videos.

Should I return the product or is somebody going to work on this issue?

I don't want a month from now to be waiting on this issue since it will blast/damage my speakers and I cannot use the box at all in this condition

Please let me know if I can have an answer, is somebody at the company aware of the bug and are there plans to fix this bug or should I return the product?

 

Don't worry. rafarataneneces，I have found the cause, and don't know if it's the same as yours. when your use your receiver and have Switch the output mode ?
like this: If default is DVD and ok, and switch VCR\CBL\GAME\AUX to DVD is wrong, the receiver will be pcm.
Had you switched the output mode? So if the problem ,we will fix this bug in next new firmware for zidoo x6 box and will not be long

 

When starting the movie, you get a menu first,
make sure you chose

play in 3d mode

 

Doesn' t work here...X6 set to 1080/24 and what are the exact settings in Kodi?
When I choose play 3D mode in Kodi, movie starts, freezes and audio keeps on going. When I push 'stop' kodi menu(being fixed) is out of proportion!

 

What do DVD\VCR\CBL do are they DSP audio profiles?

I only tried with Surround DSP that one allows Atmos to work with Yamaha RX-A1050

theres a new beta coming tomorrow that fixes audio sync and menu
