zidoo CEC is completely broken, please help!

    i have CEC turned off on the zidoo z9x, and am using the latest .40 beta firmware, yet when i turn on my apple tv, the zidoo turns on as well, and then takes over the tv and changes my receiver to zidoo input.

    is there any way to stop this from happening? it’s so annoying.

    I know; seen the same happening. Turned back using my Lindy HDMI CEC blocker. :(

    I've turned off CEC on all my devices except my SONY TV and only because I can't find a menu item to do it - maybe they call it something else, but since I leave my Zidoo powered on 24/7 I haven't had any recent problems. I haven't updated my firmware since Version 6.4.20_G

    Updated to v6.4.40_G Saturday just gone and watched part of a fav film twice and believe the colours are a tad richer and an overall better PQ. I've never had an issue updating but I always turn off my Zidoo using the switch on the back for about 5 minutes before starting to use it again.

    Use power off function from Zidoo remote control power button rather than sleep mode. Long press on remote power button. Works for me.
