You test everything on hdmi converter, I use real end-user devices denon avr, lg oled )) It sends 24p for every 25p file even xvid
That doesn't matter - It's not an HDMI converter, it's an HDFury Vertex 2 and is used to change EDID and switch sources. The HDMI chain is: Zidoo > Vertex > Denon X7200 > Samsung Flatscreen I only used the Vertex screenshot to confirm what the Zidoo info screen tells me.
I am seeing the same thing on my LG CX, but it seems to be the LG misreporting it. As my AV receiver says 25hz. I get the same behaviour with an Nvidia shield set to 25hz too.
I also have shield 2019 tube, chromecast 4k and had z9x before. Worked fine for all devices. EDID from C1 reports all 25p resolutions 2160, 1080 and 720. So I'm sure that's neither AVR nor TV
I just tried on my Shield Pro 2019 manually set the output to 25hz, but my CX reported 24hz but my AV receiver with the same signal says 25hz. Something strange is going on, I just don't think this is a Zidoo problem.
I'd never trust a TV reporting HDMI modes - my Samsung gets almost everything wrong and my JVC projector reports both 24 and 23.976 as 24Hz.
It works well with 720p25 doubles it to 50. But when I play 1080p25 it displays 25 fps but sets 24hz display mode Mkv h.264 But it worked once with 25fps test file with sync test, where white lines move across the screen and stopwatch
Got to be a bug in the way the TV reports HDMI mode - if the Zidoo says 25Hz output, it's definitely outputting 25Hz.
So, I have tested 25hz AFR: 1) Directly connecting to lg c1; 2) Directly connecting to lg lf5610; And I can say - it is totally not a bug. Looks like VRR Info on lg oled reports wrong framerate, also I didn't face any dropped frames (shutters). So looks like it outputs 25fps. On bedroom tv info reports 25fps on all videos. Spoiler: Images So, it's not a bug. Topic can be closed.
