What Brand Of USB Cable Are You Using

I have been using the stock USB cable with my A6 since I got it.

I would like to update it and wanted to see what brand other forum users are using.

I tend to use Morrow Audio for my cabling needs. They make a great product and are always having sales.

Why change as long as the cable conforms to specs ( usb.org) there will be no difference in sound quality whatsoever.

The only factor for an USB cable is to work at the full speed without causing any errors. Datatransfer is reliable which means it is 100% error corrected.
Any claims beyond that is just marketing talk. USB3 is esential for high speed moves/copies not for playing music or movies.

Cheap/bad cables may come with inferior connectors causing problems and above all nuissance when using those

I‘m using a 1 meter Tertullus USB cable ordered at Amazon.

The plugs fit perfectly, it’s well made and relatively inexpensive.

If you want to spend more money go for the Oehlbach or AudiQuest USB cables.

One would rather expect the plugs to fit, but why there will be absolutely no difference between the cheapest ( certified ) or the most expensive, you are just throwing money away unless you intend to wear one as a necklace?

I'm using 1.2m Oyaide continental 5S V2 between DMP-A6 and MUTEC MC-3+USB(with Cybershaft 10MHz master clock).

 

With all respect, but 250 bucks for 1m USB cable, when even 30 bucks is overkill are literally money thrown down the toilet.
