It is great we got a quick new firmware addressing the main issues identified on 1.1.80 - Kudos to Zidoo for their prompt response! - On the other hand, there is one problem which was introduced with 1.1.80, which did not happen to me on 1.1.70, which is the stuttering on the playback of audio only Atmos (m4a) files (I can provide a sample file if needed).

Good news! Is it normal it doesn't yet appear to be available OTA on my Z9X 8K? Is this just a preview announcement?

Unfortunately for me three long standing issues remain

    1) DV files go blank for about a second - loosing video and audio. This will keep happening every minute or so until I restart the video file.
    2) Videos with lossy audio will often (about 50% of the time) loose audio if I skip back\forward. Pressing pause then play brings audio back
    3) DTS still has audio sync issue.

    Sigh.....

Still the same bug. Interlaced videos with framerate 25i are played as progressive with output 25Hz. Not 50Hz.

    1) - What DV mode are you using (LLDV, TV Led, TV Led Passthrough) and does it still happen if you switch modes?

    Also what profile?

You say this happens until you restart the video file, so does that fix it and under what circumstances does the issue manifest in the first place? Looking for a way to replicate.

I watched about an hour or so of DV and no lock up. Lock up for me is video freeze and audio carries on.

No, it's a release - they're released in batches according to MAC address so it'll tip up soon...

    Not a bug.

25i is a misnomer as it's really 50i (ie 50 interlaced fields per second) and the box deinterlaces to 25p.

    Previously happened whatever
Currently on TV Led. I'm sure it happens whatever I use - but will test others

The problem just starts when I'm watching a DV file. Not sure if there is a trigger - seems to be at random. As soon as it happens I need to stop and restart or it will just keep happening every minute or so. A restart and it doesn't happen again for that file

It's hard to test as it doesn't happen as often as the lossy audio loss (or the now fixed stutter).

I've never seen any issues with DV files in particular other than issues that affect all others too - for example the freezing.

Also tried some AC-3 and E-AC3 tracked content and have no problem skipping forward or backward. Does that seem to be file specific?

No happens on any file with lossy audio. Never happens with lossless.

Weird - can't replicate it at all.

Do me a favour - PM me a sample file then at least were're using the same file even if that's not the problem...

Doesn't seem to be happening at the moment! Typical. When it does I'll share the file. Usually easy for me to replicate - but sods law!

A sewing machine works good for that.
