Yesterday I saw a strange error. I paused the movie and switched to SmartTubeNext. And there was no sound in SmartTubeNext
P.S. This only happens if the HDMI mode is set to 4K 120Hz

    Hello Mark
    Small metadata problem to fix.
On the ISO labels, there is no distinction between DVDs and Blu-Rays. Even DVD ISOs are displayed as BD (see screenshot)
    Is this fix planned ?
    Thanks

It has always been this way even in prevoius versions of HT

ISO files are scraped as BluRay as default since the scraper cannot open an ISO file to query what the content is.

There should be a way to fix this by adding a .DVD suffix to the filename but unfortunately this doesn't work - it adds a DVD label but still recognises the file as BluRay.

    Will pass this on.

    Hi
I have recently got Bravia 8 oled. I noticed playback was not smooth and glitches. Than i tried different settings.
The setting fits for smooth playback and njce picture quality is 12 bit 4:2:2 4k and 1080
    12 bit 4:2:0 60 hz.

Dv still does stutter time to time. Need to be fixing.
when are we expecting next update?

    Hello Mark,
    Thank you for your reply,
Another solution will be that we can manually modify an erroneous metadata or more simply the top banner as we can do on Zappiti / R_Volution
Hard to do or not ?

Ths is a IF (xxxx THEN (**** ELSE analysis for the filename parser but would have to rely on what labels entered in the file name. I actually raised this issue in the days of Popcorn Hour media player and YAMJ/Eversion Jukeboxes and we had a update via the python script of YAMJ/Eversion to parse then output the correct labels in Eversion.

Well, yes, pretty much everything in programming is if this, then that, else the other.

This just needs labels to override file analysis for the label parameter.

As I say, I passed this on.

The internet speed via cable does not exceed 720 Mbit. the copy speed via SAMBA does not exceed 70-90 Mb/sec. Z9X in the same conditions showed internet speed via cable 920 Mbit and 100-110 Mb/sec the copy speed via SAMBA. What is the reason for the downrate?

Those using Music Player 8, how are you working around the track skipping problem with albums of M4a tracks? I’ve been removing chapters from BD-A albums with MKVToolNix and extracting audio to create a single M4a but this isn’t a great solution.

I have a Samsung 900D 8k and it's also not smooth sometimes. I have to restart my Z3000Pro from time to time

Just for information, the DUNE HD 4K (My Collection application) that I had before my ZIDOO knew how to recognize BD or DVD from an ISO.
It was not instantaneous, I had to either launch the film or wait about +/- 30 seconds on the poster without launching the film, the time I think for the metadata to be analyzed.

What exactly is the problem when you say „track skipping“?

In this instance it is mounting the iso and reading the metadata that is why the film/file has to be played. Once mounted the media parser reads the "header" info and can determine the required data.

I explained the issue in more detail in these posts and others in this thread.

My LG G4 TV supports all Dolby Vision output modes on the Zidoo Z30 Pro. However, no matter which TV-Led mode I choose, it always shows RGB 8-bit DV (TV-Led) in movies. Is this a bug in version 1.1.60, or is it supposed to be like that?

I feel like the best picture quality comes from TV-Led CM v4.0 metadata bypass forced. Though it might just be an illusion.

There should probably be a big red flashing sign at the top of the forum saying this.

TV Led DV uses an 8-bit HDMI RGB tunnel to carry the 12-bit 4:2:2 signal. It's completely normal.

    It's an illusion ;)

Please tell me why there are two ancient USB 2.0 ports on the front panel of the Z30 Pro?
