Ok - that looks ok. DNS working fine and 8 hops is fine.

Is that during a time the Zidoo can't get the posters?

I don't understand how it works. Now if I select the name of an actor, it shows his photos but doesn't load the movies with him from my collection

Now I have changed the provider
all the information has loaded but the tracing doesn't seem to have worked

Hmm - I think there's something odd going on with your internet over there - unfortunately unsurprising.

I customized the posterwall by inserting posters created by me with Photoshop in PNG format and everything works perfectly. I attach an example.

    Dune Collection - Poster (+ cover).png Dune Collection - Poster (+ cover).png

Odd - possibly to do with bit depth?

    Honestly I don't know - as I say, I've always used jpg.

    Yeah, weird, your png works...

Bit depths are the same, so not sure what's going on there...

    All jpgs work though ;)

Maybe there are some corrupt sectors in the PNG files that don't work.

    No, I don't think so.

Usually problems with pngs are to do with PNG8 because they define transparency differently to say, PNG24, but neither of the files are PNG8 so I've no idea what the problem is...

If the PNG files that are having problems are also not PNG-8 then I really don't know what the cause could be.

Hey I was wondering, is it possible in an update for you guys to make it so the unit doesn't create folders on the internal hard drive. Sometimes I turn the box on and I have a "pictures" folder magically added to my hard drive and that's on top of the "Android" and "lost.dir" that I wish wouldn't be added either?

    Hello,
I have z3000 with beta firmware v1.1.60_g if i turn off my zidoo then it will turn off my marantz cinema 50. But if i will turn zidoo on then it will not turn on marantz.

Hdmi cec is enable and also media player wakes up tv and media player turn off tv is enabled.

I have done reset but this did not helpded. Also connected apple tv to the same hdmi port in marantz and all works how it should be.

As other more experienced forum members will tell you CEC "is the work of the devil". FWIW I'm having issues with CEC right now too

I think CEC-Less Adapters are the way forward for me. I have some (they plug into the HDMI socket and it has its own socket for the original HDMI lead) - cheap as chips. My issue is with CEC between my Receiver and TV re HDMI e(ARC) . Removed the adapter when I swapped my Z1000 Pro with my new UHD8000

    That'll do it.

CEC is the work of the devil and should never be used.

Not in all cases as now with my Z9X 8K >AVC-X6700H > LG-C3 HDMI-CEC works perfectly with WebOs23 and WebOS24 either. But it didn't work with previous Z9X and Z9XPro neither.
