I did another test Recording, HD/mp4. It stopped at 01:34:22 with file size: 2,043,045,354 bytes (2.04 GB on disk). It did pop up a android Toast notification, when it stopped recording, says "insufficient space" although my USB drive still have 39GB (out of 64GB) free space. For the #3, the TV button does not work if you already watching HDMI IN Video. Does TV button suppose to toggle START/STOP recording?
We tested it for ten hours long with no any problem, and the recording file is up to 7GB. Could you try agian with another USB divice? What's your device format, NTFS or FAT32?

i have a problem with audio crash.. i buy yesterday the x9 i run hdmi in but no audio...back to home and the tvbox is " mute" no sound..no ui sound no music...nothing..reboot an sound ok.. i have downgrade to 1.0.2.5 and the hadmin working ... im using to record tv show with myskyhd decoder..work fine.. i have update the x9 and the problem is back...
So, Zidoo x9 does support NTFS format. I made HDMI IN recording with NTFS USB3 drive in FHD with TS format. I stopped recording at 4:03:18 the file is 8,382,296,216 bytes. It can playback on Zidoo x9 with audio/video. But I have trouble to play it on my PC with VLC though.
I have a bad news to you: Your TV maybe not compatible with the EDID of X9. So you may try to change the boot order of equipment to solve this problem . Could you tell me what type of your TV set?
It does not play the video. I can play the video on my Android phone too. So, I think this is mostly of my PC/VLC setup issue (still need to look into when I get a chance). Thanks for asking.
The PVR still has issues with mp4 recording. I was using NTFS USB3 drive (the same drive I used to record with ts format for more than 4 hours) try to record with FHD & mp4 encoding and the recording stopped short at 57:53 with file size of 2,041,910,204 bytes (2.04 GB on disk). Does mp4 recording has the file size limit? Thanks.
Hi. Thank you for your feedback. It's limited to 1.9G for Mp4 currently, but it will be solved on the application soon. The TS format can support 4G, so far. Maybe you can choose TS format for recoeding it. Anyway, we will optimize this problem in the near future.

It plays on Zidoo box but when I try to play the ts file on my PC/MAC with VLC (v2.1.5), it did not playback. It will stuck at "processing" for a looong time and show the first frame and then just stopped.
