BUT...can you confirm for me it still smooth now? Because I have see that Google Play Service has been update to new version and...I want to know your result

 

Will a solution for Youtube ever be included in new firmware?
I don't know but it looks like with updated Google Play Store v6.8.24 videos play slow again.

 

not have solution for youtube or other app ? google play service automatically update ...work one time and after update not work

 

1 solution is to turn off update for all aps. only update manualy what you need. i'm sure there are other modes to turn off update just for 1 app

 

With latest Youtube & Play Store and old Google Play Services it looks okay to me.
Can someone just test with above also if it is better or also slow?

Also test with OGYoutube and the separate GServices app they tell to install.

why stopping updates?
here they will come very fast in the first moments of use and are not disturbing any use of the device

Sorry forgetting back to the forum. hieuhien.vn, You are right, Google updates it and video will go back to stuttering mode. I set to manual update in googlePlay but no luck.

The only way it can work for me is in this scenario: Turm on TV and Zidoo, go to youtube app, play a video to test and notice it is stuttering. Now uninstall the "google play store" app itself. Restart zidoo, and play youtube video = Smooth and nice. all good. And it will be good until the next time I turn on my tv/zidoo.
Next day I have to do this agin. Even if auto update turned off stuttering still comes back.

Anybody here know a permanent solution? Ziddo guys reading this forum?

phyle, please confirm again after some day and/or updates!

 

I tested last 3 days and it working as expected, well..there is slight stuttering there, but compared to the original issue it is 98% solved. I consider problem is solved.
