Hi Zidoo constantly freezes when I play a movie with SMB I have installed the firmware 2.3.3 but the problem didn t solve it. Does anyboby have the same as me? Thanks
I had exactly the same problem. Used NFS originally as it's a more efficient protocol, but ran into the NFS stuttering bug and had to switch to SMB. While SMB didn't stutter on high bit rate movies like NFS did, it kept freezing 2-3-4 times during each movie no matter the bit rate. 2.3.3 seems to have resolved the NFS stuttering problem so I switched back to NFS again and everything has been working fine so far, no stuttering and no freezes. I did email their support about these issues and got no response at all. See if you can switch to NFS too.
Do you mean freeze permanently or do you mean freeze for a few seconds and then continue? Do you have Drive Sleep switched <on> on your NAS drive?
