It 's so unfortunately, we expect the update to improve what's not working, instead it is the end. It seems a bad joke.
no no no its not a bad joke... When cineclub has the fix finished, comes the hdmi splitter in the garbage. We have to wait a bit but it is not the end my friend.
But buying a HDFury? Expensive, but have read a lot of reports as the "defintive" solution. True or false? (Not directly interested to, only for curiosity...)
Thanks javarix, let's hope. I've always had a lot of problems with the recordings. One day I turned off the light at a channel , then a little later I was in the dark.
After many days still no answer from cineclub. the hdmi project may have died or maybe is cineclub death?I go back to the hardware hdmi splitter.
For those who upgraded the firmware to 1.4.4: 1 - flash the X9S (using the first link) 2 - upgrade the firmware to 1.3.0 3 - install the last version of the hack And don't make the same mistake to upgrade the firmware without checking there is a version of the hack which works with the upgrade.
Exactly, refering to the first post of this thread "Can not be used in new firmware > 1.3.0". This awaiting for an upgrade of the hack which could be used with the last version of the FW, and for those who are willing to record 1080P content.
Hi all,I came back to v 1.3.0 but I have the problem :there is always the limit of 3,65 giga, for the recording, which break in two parts. The flash reset worked only with v 1.2..3 and then I update the v 1.3.0. to complete the downgrade.
I was wondering what changes it took to make the 1.3.0 apk "forget" about HDCP, and compared the stock 1.3.0 apk with the latest patched one, from this thread. The changes were fairly minor. Only one file ( \com\zidoo\rtk\hdmi\tool\Util.smali ) had to be changed by a few lines to lead to the desired results: In 1.4.4, sadly though, the HDMI IN apk changed quite a bit, not only are there entire new code segments in the Util.smali that refer to HDCP, but there are a bunch of mentions of hdcp in the \com\realtek\server\RtkHDMIService[*].smali, the \com\realtek\server\RtkHDMIRxService[*].smali and \com\realtek\server\RtkHDMIRxStatus[*].smali files as well. So it seems that Zidoo changed the apk with 1.4.4 quite significantly in that regard. Nevertheless, if you are a benefactor style coder ( ) and could use a challenge - here are the three Util.smali files from the different apks to get you started/(hopefully) interested. 1.3.0 stock: https://pastebin.com/XRhagebD 1.3.0 patched: https://pastebin.com/Q8qmA8xv 1.4.4 stock: https://pastebin.com/FzxwErHa
I made the last posting to answer exactly that question. :/ Is it as easy as before? Nope. Can it be done? Probably. Can I do it? Nope. (But I'm not a coder, I'm just able to use backsmali and file comparison software, and thats what I did in the posting above - to give you an indication of how easy/likely a "port" to a 1.4.4 (or above) version would be)
I do own a Zidoo X9S and a Xtreamer eXpress (similar to X10) all are using the same RTD1295DD SOC with HDMI-IN. The eXpress has a setting to enable/disable HDCP2.2 hence it is technically possible to do so without an APP.
