Have your A6 and the phome connected to the same LAN.
Scan the QR code on the A6 with your phone.
    Done.
If something doesn't work, take note of the error message you get - it might tell WHY it thinks the A6 is not found.
Usually these problems arise more easily in MESH-NETWORK environments, so if you happen to have one, try something that will grant both units on the same AP.
Also, in your router you can try to have the A6 with STATIC IP address, rather than receiving one via DHCP.

I cannot think anything other than this...

Thank you! I'll give it a shot this evening. I appreciate the quick response.

    I am receiving following message
Request error, please try again later(-6)

I tried factory reset, changing the IP, assigning static IP. With the static IP it worked than stop working. I am receiving the same message again.

Same problem and message I'm getting now after a FW update. Resetting dmp, phone or router did not work. Disconnecting Lan cable and using wlan allowd me to regain access, but connecting cable again and the phone cannot find the DMP.

In a reflective response to my own case above, I got it working again. Only thing I can imagine having made a difference to yesterday was that I had previously set a static IP for the DMP. After releasing that (plus a coincidental 5minute power-outage), the Android app now finds the DMP automatcially without problem, even when the DMP is using cable-connection. Go figure...
