Ah finally ! Thanks for this update! Question: What is "Added the playback queue function"? How does it work?

On my UHD3000 everything runs very smoothly. But it is a great pity that Musik player 8.0 from Eversolo was not used, at least when it comes to visualizations..... But bravo that something has appeared from the update at all, that the project is alive bravo Zidoo. translated using Google translator.

Observation 1: BD ISO playback to menu is pretty much instant (quicker than I've seen on BD disc player) and is around 4.5 seconds.

    Bravo.

    mark a question for you

is it possible to make some sort of collection with demos from different movies
    too showoff your set.
for example ready player one (the race scene)
a quite place 2 the opening.

is there a way to put these scenes in some sort of collection

You could try Digital Signage mode under settings Playback. I haven’t used it but it’s there to try?

A few ways to do this... If it was me, I'd probably do it this way:

    1. Collate clips into one directory and name appropriately
    2. Create art for each clip and name appropriately
    3. Create Collection art and name appropriately
    3. Create NFO for each clip making sure to use the <set>...</set> tags to set the collection name (simple template attached)
    4. Set local art and NFO precedence in HT
    5. Scan HT

Tip - create all this in a directory away from your source(s) so that HT doesn't scan it before you're ready, then (with the box switched OFF) copy across when you're sure you're ready. Ducks in a row and all that...

Attached PDF has naming conventions if you're not sure.

When done you should have a nicely set up collection with your clips inside, all with nice posters.

In a former life when I had the facilities available I used to create just such demo discs as DVDs - I used to edit sequences in Avid and then create full menu DVDs in Scenarist. The Matrix "Lobby Shooting Spree" was favourite back then :)

    thanx mark for that answer.

it is not the answer i was looking for
my question was more related to the movies in my collection
i want to demo the scenes from the movies on my nas
    if that is even possible

However you do it, you'd need to edit the clips out first - could also be added to a widget.

You could do it with a bit of programming through the API - I can think how I'd write something like that for Crestron for example, but it'd be a pain in the neck and stuff like that shouldn't really be hard coded - it's too transitory.

Does HT5 has the same ART graphics requirements, naming convention for files and NFO formatting etc.?

All my files are named with IDMB / TMDB IDs in the file name and all 3 Art files are pre-downloaded and NFO created in Kodi format and trailers are also pre-downloaded with correct naming convention to get repeatable results from Zidoo scanning but that was with HT4.

Any changes in HT5 that I should know about or will it use all the same files and pick up my lib where HT4 had it working?

Any new ART files types supported?

    Thanks

Another question - I assume it is best to set to priorities local NFO scanning over online ones if I have them present and scrapped by TMM?
