New firmware v1.0.39 for ZIDOO X6 release

Sadly, Zidoo do drop support for an older model once their new baby comes along.

They stretch their resources too thin but the more that people part with their money then the more they will do this.

 

In July 2016, I allowed OTA upgrade of Zido X6 Pro hoping to solve minor 4K player performance issues,
- but result was Zido X6 Pro stopped supporting USB attached Logitech keyboards.
- all previous keyboards that I used worked via USB Logitech Unifying Receiver.

I searched this support forum, have waited for others to detect this issue - seems I am the only with this issue after 1.0.39 upgrade.
- maybe my specific Zido X6 Pro has an electronic failure resulting from 1.0.39 upgrade??

Any ideas to resolve would be helpful;
- how to down grade to v1.0.26 - version that worked?
- tried several Unifying Receivers and keyboards; Logitech K400r, K360+M215

wait until you get the next firmware... then you might have problems

Yep, current x6 firmware is last version. Don't expect any updates anymore

 

thats what i said and expected some weeks ago

 

so it is time to return all the x6 pros and get the money back?

 

in germany we have guarantee and there are still faults which had been from start on so it is okai to do so - i bought via amazon and did gave back some of them - i still have only one now
i will connect to amazon
maybe others should do as well

 

i think i bought mine boxes directly with zidoo at aliexpress.. need to figure out how returns work there..

 

There is "64-bit" label on top, but Android build is actually 32-bit, not 64-bit - you can eaisly check that with any app like CPU-Z. So they lie - is it enough reason to return device and get my money back. Plus another faults that will be never fixed.

The new product took some time from engineers, but we're still work on X6pro.
Just because the later the develop is , the more difficult the problem are , they spend much time.

 

or change our devices in one of the newer ones which MAYBE fulfil the descriptions?!?

 

The label indicated the chip of RK3368 features eight 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 cores.

but a lot of problems are going thru some of the latest firmwares and are existing right from the beginning
when you think you can fix those things?

 

How those 64-bit features are used on 32-bit Android build? Firmware is 32-bit, so none of 64-bit features can be used. Please make 64-bit Android rom to be able to use 64-bit cpu features (as label indicates)

 

I also wonder when will be resolved all the many problems of this box.
I had to downgrade to version 1.0.36 because of IPTV buffering problems.
