I'm an owner of a Z1000 and I'd like to replace it by a NeoX. But I want to keep my 4Tb HDD used in the Z1000 then plug it in Neo. Without reformating or anything that could make I'll lose any data in this hard drive.
Will it be plug and play ? Any thoughs ?

If you power off and switch off before transfer of hdd there shouldn't be any problem.

    Thanks a lot.
I just need now to find a dealer for the Neo X to buy it
Of course I've planned to switch off, not doing a hot plug :)

You can also unmount hdd in Media Center before switching off.

Should just work. Move my HDD's around all the time.
Hot plugging doing an Eject/Unmount first also works just fine.
