Could you please ensure that upcoming dual boot will be UNROOTed so that all official-media-apps would work also in Zidoo --- Now multiple official media apps won't work or cannot stream any content due the reason that Zidoo's OS is rooted. That's why rooting should be removed (if that would be possible). When the dual boot version will be released?
Light OS release date? It can be installed onto the Zidoo X6 Pro? (Biz OS ROM or Android and Ubuntu Stock ROM) Very similar hardware. http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.ph...e-biz-os-rom-and-stock-rom-realease-20151211/ http://www.geekbox.tv/ http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Geek...-WIFI-1000M-LAN-BT4-1-HDMI2-0-OTG-358067.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here is a misleading advertising :
No use for a dual-bbot ROM until MAC_L1 makes one for the Geekbox RK3368, since there is no video playback working in Ubuntu and menus lag 50x more than in Android.
Where? I see (and I'm very happy) release of 1.0.27 FW, but nothing about Light OS. Someway hidden somewhere? TIA!
I would think that fixing all issues mentioned in the forum would be first on the list.. Adding more items would come after you have fulfilled the initial release claims... Just Saying
light os version 1.Remove zidoo apk, restore into native for all 2.Add software decoding support for ac3、dts of local player 3.Remove kodi 4.Add support to hfs plus file system 5.Add zidoo ota update feature pls unzip this file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8mjd4q5es33c1wo/ZIDOO_X6+Pro_v1.0.24_lightOS.zip how to flash: http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/how-to-flash-x6-pro-box.605/
I just discovered a bug, hope it can be fixed. When using normal Android Lollipop mode without 'Multi Window' enabled in Light Biz OS, Zidoo Kodi plays video correctly. But when enabling 'Multi Window' support, when playing a video in Zidoo Kodi, it only plays audio with H265/AVC1 files and no video. When enabling 'Mediacodec' Video Acceleration in Kodi and disabling RockchipCodec and playing video it works correctly again. So the problem is with RKCodec in Rockchip Kodi and with 'Multi Window' setting enabled in Light Biz OS. Is that why Kodi was removed? Hope it can be fixed.
Hi, mirror, a little question: After flashing it (it's a pity is not flashable through update procedure), is Light OS dual booting with your Android OS, or are mutually exclusive? Thanks in advance.
Light Biz OS and Android 5.1 are both Android 5.1. Light Biz OS has a setting in Display to turn it into normal Android or activate the extra windows/menus to turn it back into Light Biz OS.
I suppose "Light Biz OS" is currently in "on hold" state, debugging X6 FW is more important. A suggestion OT, have a look to Movian, is a very light, quick, simple and with no frills "media center", but easy to use also with your IR Remote. I don't need nice (and useless) themes, a TX Box is for play movies or music, not for watch a colorful interface, and have problem to play a file... If Movian will become able to use X6 power to play videos, may become a nice plus for your device!
