When is SOON and will it include the MQA streams as well as known on Bluesound??

 

Haha what is "soon" in Chinese perception? I have learned it means a commitment in the sense that active work is done on it.
It may come in days, weeks but could even take some months.

I believe Eversolo is waiting on Amazon to approve the api integration so timing is not under Eversolo's control.

 

Yes, we know that, that’s why I brought it up I never said it depended on Zidoo. That was said like a month ago while there’s no mention of Deezer but suddenly here we are.

Amazon is not a third world government department to take a month to certify, even Roon took just a couple of weeks. This simply indicate an issue or simply rejected. I hope it’s not true.

I'm sure in time Eversolo will go after all the bigger names, so if they got rejected, they will give it another go.

So does this mean that Radio Paradise will play at FLAC and not 320kb?

 

It will probably depend on what streams the app links to... RP has bot lossless FLAC (also with metadata) and lossy streams.
I have it "installed" the 4 different radio-streams (at flac + metadata) on my moOde player and works.

 

I would welcome Deezer's inclusion in this illustrious circle of full supported streaming services.

 

Plexamp is not yet whitelisted but it can be sideloaded, so can Plex.

 

I tried the Radio Paradise app on my new unit. It <appears> to be streaming at cd quality. Am I missing something?

 

That's what you expect it to do, if you use the hi-res streams; that is, FLAC streamsm at least 44.1/16 (and this is CD quality)

 

But is it lossless? Can you see the bitrate?

We'll know the bitrate when it's integrated, but I'm not sure if you know from within the app.

 

I wish they can support as plex client natively, the plexamp on android is not bit perfect right now

 

How can one know if something is bitperfect or not?
