I am happy with HT 4.0, please keep going.

HT 4.0 is good. It is capable to cope with my requirements. Let screen shots show.

 

Nice, are you naming files, or scraping? How are you getting all the media information?
Sure would be nice if it did thar too ..... so far playing with adding hdr, or 4k to my files that are, the rest is what they are..
My naming saving structure is folders named as file, then file in individual folder...

Came from a dune player, and have used that structure for like 10 years.... I have kodi on a few fire sticks and tvs for local media.
Tyring to get a feel for how to efficiently utilize the HT. I like it, and the auto preview is nice too..

You may op-out the .bluray if the file is mkv or others that do not offer bluray navigation .
Remember to change the subtitle file name.

May be the firmware 6.0.30 / 6.0.30G for Z10pro not yet issued. I am not sure.

It is bundle with Z9X firmware 6.0.30 / 6.0.30G, I do not found a release for Z9S.

 

HT 4.0 from the Z9X firmware cannot be installed on Android 7/6 devices. The code is compiled for Android 9 DEX version 039.
I've managed to create an installable APK but it couldn't start.

 

I also really like the HT from Zidoo (at the moment i am using 3.0 on Zidoo Z1000 Pro). What I am missing (coming from Dune) is the info-page for actors / director. At the moment when I click on an actor I only see a picture and an empty page.
In Dune I have a list of movies where the actor is playing and the info which movies of them are in my collection and which not - very useful. Is this possible with HT 4.0 or does anybody know if such a feature is planned for the future?

ok thanks for the info! I tried several movies and the actor-pages were always empty. Will play around a little bit with the scraper, maybe I did something wrong because I used the setting to prefer local information. But good to know that it actualy should work

 

It will be interesting to see if HT4 also drips down to previous generations or that these will stay on HT3.
Same for MP6 and MP5. Some differentiation would not surprise me.

 

Actually this would suck . ZDMC works from X8 on.

@McBluna - Can you provide the ht 4 apk so it can be installed on z1000 pro ?

 

I do not know how to compile it. Even if we extract it from the firmware, it may be just an APK for upgrade not a full version for installation.

 

In case you mist it. The new firmware 6.0.35 for Z9X, Z10 Pro and Z1000 Pro comes with HT 4.0.8.
