How to get Apple Music App on eversolo?

Under ‘Streaming’, you have to scroll down to see the apps that you can install directly from the streamer (no sideloading needed).

Apple Music is one of them.

If you sideloaded Apple Music, I would delete it (by long-pressing the app on the A6/A8 screen). Then install the one available under ‘Streaming).

 

Apple music stopped working saying that this version is not authorised. Does anyone else get the same error message

Hi guys, I bought a Zidoo Neo Alpha back then as Eversolo wasn't a thing yet.

I find it very sad that since the Eversolo's showed up, Zidoo abbandoned somehow the Neo Alpha.
No Firmware updates since then, nothing.

There are still some bugs that need to be solved here and there but even wrting to the customer support left them speechles with no reply about the matter.
The should've implemented by Firmware update the usage of the Oled screen as it is used on the screen of the Eversolo models, making it more usable.
But I guess Zidoo knows very well the reason for this decision ;-)

Did someone of you manage to find the eversolo apk version of apple music somewhere to dowlnoad?
Or if it is possible to strip it from a DMP-A6/A8 ?
Would like to try it out even if it is not assured that it will run properly.

 

Just downgrade to version 4.6 and it should work

 

I am using 4.6 apk. Apple Music was working earlier but now I am getting a message that version is unsupported

4.6.0 (1352) works for me on the A8.

 

Do you know if it's a version rolled out extra for the Eversolo or is it the common apk that you install on your android phone?

 

I believe that Eversolo includes a version that works with their streamer. So, in other words, they don’t ‘preload’ a version if it creates issues for them. Therefore, you should use the version that can be installed via ‘Streaming’.

The current firmware has Apple Music integrated, so you don’t need to use ‘Cast’. I’m not sure how they did this, since they haven’t said anything about getting access to Apple’s API.

 

Ive had this happen to me before. Sometimes it took 2-3 times of logging back out and in to get Apple Music to work. I think it has to do with Apple's crazy authorization issues.

 

did you notice that this integrated version of Apple Music seems to be "capped" to 44.1 only? so there is no option to select hi-res lossless. in all fairness, the system does prompt you that this function may be removed and that the quality is only up to 44.1 khz.

 

Yeah worthless if it won’t go higher than 44.1

 

I don’t think Eversolo got access to the API. There are other limitations too.
