HDR10+ Content Flickers with Z9x and HDFury Arcana

    Setup is Z9x -> HDFury Arcana -> Samsung Q950A Soundbar -> Samsung S95b
    (this also happens when i try Z9x -> Arcana -> S95B and Z9x -> Soundbar -> Arcana -> TV)

    When I watch HDR10+ (LLDV, HDR, SDR content is fine) content at random intervals I'll get a black screen for a second but movie and sound continues playing. Same issue as http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/hdr10-black-screen-issues-with-z9x.92222/#post-166088. I don't have setting to disable "8K" in soundbar, but I tried turning off similar setting on TV with no avail. I turned scaler on Arcana off. Issue is only if I have Arcana, if I get rid of it, it doesn't happen. I've exchanged my Arcana for a different one but did not fix it. HDFury's support in my experience has been sucky as all they can recommend is buying their recommended cables (which I have done to no avail).

    At this point I've tried everything I can think of.

    This happens across multiple FW versions (including 6.4.29). Have not yet tried FW released in the last day

    Any ideas?

    So turning on AMP pass through compatibility mode reduces the amount of these black-screen/resyncs but does not totally resolve. Since that toggle is for "slow" receivers, anyone think a higher end VROOM or Vertex2 would help?

    All I can tell you is that I have two Vertex 2 - one in the cinema, one with a Samsung flatscreen, both through Denon receivers and I have no issues.

    I might have resolved it by factory reseting my Z9X. I've gone 50 minutes without one of these cut outs.

    I'll make sure to watch a complete HDR10+ film and confirm if it's completely resolved when possible
