Okay, so I have installed firmware version 6.3.66 G on my Z9x. I still do not have a GSFID on the about screen. I do have the google play store in the app section. When I click on that I get a google sign on. When I sign on it returns with "my device is not certified" and kicks me back out to the sign on screen.

    What am I doing wrong?

I think there is a menu item on the sign in page to register.

You closed Play Store and restarted the player before looking for the GSFID?

You first have to "Google Play Protect" certify your player and next need to activate the Google Play Store:

    1. Open Play Store, then close it - this generates the GSF ID
    2. Goto Zidoo Quick Settings/Other/About and take a note of the GSF ID
    3. In any web browser on any platform, goto www.google.com/android/uncertified, log in and enter GSF ID and hit <Register>
    4. Restart Z9X as a now Google Play Protect certified device
    5. Start Google Play Store again and register/activate your Google account

You are now ready to use the Google Play Store.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the following:

Go to about screen. No GSFID
Go to apps and open play store. When sign on screen appears, exit play store.
Go to about screen. No GSFID.

Tried the same sequence as above with a reboot after leaving playstore.
    Still no GSFID.

Tried clicking sign on screen in play store. This generated the message about uncertified device.
    exit playstore, still no GSFID.

Start clean by installing a version without _G first or do a factory reset. Next follow the procedure once more.
