    Hi,
I am running latest firmware 2.1.40 on Z10 and noticed stutter during movies on 29.970 framerate movies.
I have framerate matching and auto resolution switching enabled and movie is played at @59hz with stutter every 3 seconds or so. I have to disable framerate matching/autoresolution switching and set output to 1080p 30Hz in order to regain fluid playback.

    Movie details according to nfo:
    RELEASE: Fantastic.Beasts.The.Crimes.of.Grindelwald.2018.1080p.HDRip.X264.AC3-EVO
SOURCE: 1080p - Thank you, King Warm! :)
    ViDEO: 11300 Kbps (L4.1@High) *Slow -2 Passes
    RESOLUTiON: 1920x800
    FRAMERATE: 29.970628
    RUNTiME: 2h 13m 43s
    SUBTiTLES: No.
    AUDiO: 384 Kbps AC3 5.1
    LANGUAGE: ENGLiSH
    ENCODER: DdHD

    Anyone noticed the same?

Quick settings > Automatic frame rate > Switch frame rate and resolution > ON.

    Helped?

That setting was the main reason to buy this media player. Yes, it was on.
I do not have that video file anymore. Maybe @gymnos could tell us if was fixed?

Strange info: HDRip 1080p but played @59 hz indicating a 1080i (interlaced source). Must be a TV recording or something not a BD source?
Maybe the wrong frame-rate is reported to the player?

There is no 29.97 in 1080P. So switch to 59.94.
As you wish,we can switch to 1080@30 in the next firmware.
But in 2160p, can switch to 29.97
