SEARCH FUNCTION EXPLORER PLAY RESULTS

feature request Improve media exploter with search function. For example. User have 300 mp3 files in windows pc shared folder (samba) then if explorer have search function you can search "gaga" and the option to play all results secuentially, random, repeat all... The same with video files (.mpg, .avi, .mkv) search "grandmother" and play all video files result with the text grandmother in filename... and the same for pictures (.jpg, .bmp) search "baby" and play all results secuentially, random, repeat all pictures files result with the text baby in filename with pan&zoom slideshow...

PLEASE ZIDOO, develop and deploy a really working scheduled HDMI Recorder: from X9 to X10 (I've bought 2 X9S and recently also a X10), the related app (Zidoo_Recorder.apk ... I'm right?) that should manage this functionality not only is "poor" (it's possible only to schedule single events, one by one...) but when they should start as expected, unluckily have NEVER worked.

Talking about this issue, recently, for a X9; I've succesfully used the app developed by Yeahman45 (member of this Forum).

Well... even if probably can be improved, it works fine and has more options than the app furnished by Zidoo.

Take a look and then think about.

I consider Zidoo products have medium/high hardware quality so I'd like that also the OS and relative apps should be so.

PLEASE ZIDOO, take inspiration from Yeahman45 project/apk and release something like that or better!

I have not HDR TV, and all the HDR content is displayed in the wrong colors. The EDID is not correctly assigned. To do this, you need to manually turn HDR conversion into SDR.

 

Want to suggest an idea to add a function in the file Manager.
Add setting to choose what to open when you start file Manager:
1. Favorites
2. The internal sd card
3 External Sd card or external hard disk
4. The last open

Right-to-left languages subtitles are not displayed as RTL.
This caused wrong punctuation display.

I just ask the developers to do this function in the next firmware!

 

I am impressed by the image player compared to the old version.

Just 2 options that are missing.

- pause during automatic scrolling of photos and also, go back on a photo during automatic scrolling.

- when you leave the automatic scrolling, it must be positioned on the last photo that it was during the automatic scrolling (ex: automatic scroller I am to the photos 345 on 500, I scroll out, I must not be at 1 But at 345)

- Optional: more music during automatic scrolling

As a request, is to make an option to make HDD spin or not during boot, or having an app which enable/disables hdd avoiding being spinning when on streaming

What does this mean? What people who use universal remotes really need are discrete ON and OFF codes and all of the remote codes published in Pronto hex format.

 

If for example you use a basic bluetooth remote on the home screen an icon to power off or standby option menu .
Or a menu option to navigate to to power off / standby unit .

There is not one on the splash screen .

 

Click at bottom of the screen, there is an on/off switch in the bottom bar.

Put the curser at bottom and click, the bottom bar should raise. I use an air mouse and it work
