Eversolo has teased a new product at the Shanghai International Smart Home Exhibition. It's a Class D power amplifier, model name is AMP-F2.
Forum reinstated now this is in the public domain. https://www.eversolo.com/Product/index/model/AMP-F2/target/o60mbTGeaJtKKmVViAFMcQ==.html
They call it a collaboration, not simply cosmetic changes but they do use Starke’s NS600 amplfier module and maintain the faceplate. This has me worried a bit, one of Starke’s amps not just measured poorly but only output half the power than promised in the specs. Never heard how it sound so perhaps it did sound good. Not sure why Zidoo chose to do this. Perhaps the model this is based on performs much better.
Eversolo FA2 is 2 channel which can be bridged to single. Looking inside Fiera4 I see 2 amp modules and a single switched mode (600W) PSU. The RMS power per channel is specified about the same with half the number of channels driven. So that should result in the correct RMS output claim for the FA2? Or are these just twice as big units? I guess this is an improved/simplified model meeting the RMS output claims. At €928,30 for the Fiera 4 (expect a similar price for that FA2) it could be (great) value for money. Obviously the sound it produces is the thing to be proven. A dual mono-block setup would be very interesting to try with DMP-A6.

Nice, product specs and finishing look appealing. Also pricing seems about right to complement the DMP-A6 product. Now let's wait for measurements tests and some reviews. The only concern from my experience is the Class D modules sonic reproduction, since I owned a couple of NuForce P8 monos early class D amps which were really impressive but very clinical and dry to my taste. I'm not sure whether this was mainly due to the very high damping factor for the low band but didn't much enjoy the overall result. The point is that the Eversolo streamer and DACs are already very transparent and wonder how this will add up.
The price is as aspected for a 2 channel unit. Now for some sound impressions. D-Class lab measurements are very tecnical saying not too much to me.
