Is there a Dolby Vision / VS10 Firmware version as such that gets pushed out to manufactures that gets updated with bug fixes for tv , apple tv , Nvidia etc ?

Or bug fixes listing / update or is it closed off to prying eyes .

    Does Zidoo get pushed a new VS10 update : v 3.267,98

This would be part of the SDK (Software Development Kit) used by Zidoo and coming from Realtek.
The SDK is occasionally updated with FW releases for sure but remains totally hidden in the Zidoo release notes. It may say some thing like "stability improvement".

I have no idea how the VS10 engine actually works. It this done by additional HW or just using FW making use of the standard RTD1816DD HW present?
Can be the one, the other or a combination. If by added FW only then the secrecy makes a lot of sense. :p

Reading "DV/VS10 Engine upgrade" in the release notes would be nice.

Vs12 is coming out? If so, would Zidoo be able to upgrade? Because I think it's not bound to hardware, is it?

Yes, it is bound to hardware. VS10 isn't a version, it was an internal designation when it was released around 2015. Mediatek were the first to adopt I think, followed by Realtek and a couple of others.
