Date and Time

What's this for? This is a mess! Why alphabetic order after Afghanistan, why alwasy revert to China?
Talking about prior things to do, I can't figure this out!

You can change the value for any country. In the end, it's China. And this has nothing to do with date and time.

 

Hi, it's not very user friendly, yes but this must be set one time only...

 

Only to do for the first setup I think. Isn`t it?

Since then my DMP-A6 knows where is it`s home and also remembers what the clock has struck...

 

The first 8 are the most popular locations, after that it's alphabetical. Simple.

 

Apparently one can change the setting directly using the unit’s touchscreen interface and the settings are stored and more importantly, the date and time displayed are correct. I am using the iOS app and this appears to be fixed to the default value; China time zone. More of a nuisance than a problem.

 

Not all settings are available using setup on the APP. The most frequently used are and that is how it works.
