Could we have the next document to translate please? The Welcome Page, The Media Center and the Player in this order for example.

Well, after that, we still have Music Player, the Control Center and other stuffs that I don't think of, but that would be a start. lol


I go with what the users use the most, so the main page and Media Center. For the player, it's just to translate the menus and the messages for the bookmark function.

 

The trouble is that there are very few of us who are so ready for translation so they won’t be releasing the next pack in Transifex quickly.

 

For Quick Settings, most of the langages are up to date (only german is late). I dont know why People doesn’t translate the 12 last strings in Home Theater. I suppose that an official release in the next firmware will make them react when they will see the missing translations here and there in HT for their own language.

I also suppose that most of them will translate the next documents, as they did with QS.

But for now, I just need an official release in next firmware of the translations still in transifex for now. Everything is final now and I would like to make some tutorials in french for the users. But without a release for everybody with the updated languages, I can’t.

 

Italian is up to date now.

I will not complain as I found a last optimisation to do in my translation of HT this WE (the « others » at the top of the list of the HT strings talking about the other countries in filters and categories I think).

Now, we are 4 to be up to date for both apps.

About the string 205 in Quick Settings (description of the Deep Color function) :

After a discussion with Mark, the 2 values in the text should be :

- 4K 50-60Hz YUV420 up to 12Bit (in reality all contents are in YUV420 10Bit but some TVs like Samsung can go up to 12Bit)
- 4K 50-60Hz YUV422 12Bit (4:2:2 is only supported at 12Bit in HDMI)

And not :

- 4K 50-60Hz YUV420 up to 10Bit
- 4K YUV422 up to 12Bit

As I see it we are moving nicely !! By the time the rest is over, the others will catch up in the translation! I modified the color depth tip in transifex. Thanks Inikad
