Yes, but if you change NAS location (i.e IP) then you'll need to re-scrape all DB again!!

No you don't, you can use "Synchronise data from other source".

It didn’t work for me and I don’t like to retry after many hours of clicking the RC. Actually it drove my crazy since every re-scrape need to manually classify many of posterwalls in despite they can be easily selected from the shown list. That’s an important bug already reported several times.

With respect to Poster Wall scrapping... In my case scrapping newly uploaded files is locked/blocked in case of some national characters are in the path or file name, like "ł" character and maybe also others. So it might be a case for some other languages too.

What I mean by blocked scrapping is that the mechanism is even not detecting there are any files to scrap... Nothing, even the unmatched list is empty. Scrapping is not triggered. What also affects all other files that are in the queue that are never scrapped. When I change ł character to l the scrapping of newely added files in the existing library is instantly correctly re-triggered and all files in the queue are added into the Poster Wall correctly.

So what I suggest is that in your case this also might have some impact = the inconsistent status of scrapping of your sources = never fully finished.

With respect, you must have done something wrong - it works very well, but you do need to understand how it works.

Yes - that's an odd one with the scraping - but then I use NFOs and local art so it's never a problem. Although to be fair I've recently been testing databases of 4000 movies and if you get the names right, I'd say the accuracy of online scraping is better than 99% - I had single number incorrect or unmatched scrapes.

The old adage of Garbage In, Garbage Out applies.

Scraping bug details: With same respect, classification works wrongly for some unknown reasons. It's really frustrating when a vast numbers of movies are moved to unmatched folder and here some issues...
    1) You select one by one and simply removing .mkv format from the name (file format is automatic by system and not included in the title) you find a list by TMDB and title is there. You click the one you like and then Zidoo accept the selection. What does it need such action?
    2) Many times the selection is done for the oldest release year instead of newest.
(All my movies are titled 100% as TMDB)

The scraping is fully finished although it takes 2-3hrs for 500 movies, via NAS-WiFi.

    1) Yes - I know that bug very well - it's very frustrating.
    2) In the case where there are two movies released in different years, attach the year to the newer one(s) eg Ghostbusters.mkv and Ghostbusters (2016).mkv

Definitely should not take that long!!!

I just reset HT on a Z9X Pro, did a brand new online only scrape of a 500 movie library and it took 6 minutes 56 seconds with zero unmatched and as far as I can see on a quick look, no mistakes.

Maybe when titles are shown in English but not in another language. My case, by LAN or WiFI, it takes much more. Probably it takes much longer when it fails matching.

Yes, that's fine but it's not that issue. The issue comes when it takes the oldest one instead of newest while the titles are coincident, in despite your configuration is the other way. You have got only one title r2022 but it's the same name as other r1975 not in your list but in TMDB and Zidoo chooses the oldest one.

    Don't understand.

It's an example: The scraping system selects a movie titled XX of 1975 release year instead of a new movie XX of 2020. The movie names are the same or 95%.

No it wasn't switched on. I changed to both and checked again. Seems now working! I hope this will last forever because previous it appears after some time and stayed.
Thanks a lot for this hint!

Playing from an USB 3.0 2.5" HDD. No NAS - no smb.
Wifi off - Cat 6 cable with 1.o Gbps connection

It seems that the frame rate switch was off. (hopefully it will not starting stuttering again)

Connected with OELBACH 8k HDMI cables to my DENON S670H and from there also with an OELBACH 8k HDMI to my SAMSUNG S90C. So the connection is not the problem...

May be I got a lemon...

Fortunately, I bought my unit on Amazon, so I will return it and continue using my beloved Oppo 205.

In my setup the main HDMI is connected to the Formovie Theater UST projector and the secondary HDMI (Audio only) is connected to my Denon AVC-X3800H.

And by the way, still waiting a response from Zidoo Team.
