My Zidoo Z20 Pro does not display trailers after updating to 1.0.86. Can I restore the display of trailers?

    Hi,
I am a new Zidoo user. I just bought a zidoo z2000 pro which updated to v86 upon installation. Trailers don't work! Whether automatic on the wall or manual. Is this an update problem? Will Zidoo correct this? I think I'm not the only one with this problem! I did complete resets (4 times at least) but without success.
    Thank you for your feedback.

Use search before asking the same questions over and over again about trailers...

Sorry for this inconvenience "Sanctrum". As you can see I am a new member on this forum and if I ask the question (over and over) it is because I have not found an answer. Can you tell me if I'm in the wrong place? Do you have an answer that I haven't seen? Thanks.

Online trailers are broken in latest firmware. However you should be able to add your own local trailers.

Look at the very first page in this thread. And wait for the next firmware

Well you can get wireless HDMI extenders that supposedly do 4K, but I've never used one so have no idea how reliable they'd be.

    Good morning,

Be careful with zidoo 5000, it has lots of bugs.

Do not install the latest update.
We bought two zidoo 5000 in Spain and one in France. They have the same problems.

This has been going on for months and the latest update is only making things worse.

If you are on update 1.075 do not install 1..86 because it is even worse.

The reading of multichannel iso sacd files and whatever the iso are not read correctly, full of jerks and micro-cuts. The music stops and comes back after a few minutes then stops and stutters.

    Reading Bluray menus is problematic.
Many APKs that could be installed on previous models can no longer be installed.

Above all, do not install the recovery ISO (UHD5000 Flashing Files)
If you install it, you will no longer be able to play any audio file and whatever the audio format (flac, 16, 24 bits, cue, bin, dsd, dsf, etc.), you will get an error message telling you that your file is no longer supported. and there is no longer any solution, no matter how much you install the updates, the problem will not be resolved.

Either the UHD5000 Flashing Files is corrupted or it is only making the problem worse.

Also a problem sometimes stopping the machine and you have to do this by pressing the stop button on the back of the machine.

Zidoo has known for months after my messages. I requested that the UHD5000 Flashing Files be removed and checked by their technicians.

Yesterday I had to install the UHD5000 Flashing Files ISO and I suspected that I would have the same problem but I had no choice. No sound track is supported (message displayed on the screen).

As far as films are concerned, it works and the sound also normally.

We also noticed on the Alpha model that reading native DSD using the third DMI option if you stop the machine then restart you no longer have native DSD on the third option (that's another story).

Me, I'm angry because I spent a lot of time testing. zidoo even asked me to send them a multichannel sacd iso file when zidoo should have one for its tests.

    This story is incredible and

Fortunately, I have returned my unit within the withdrawal period.

The technical support offered by the brand is painful.

    Good luck.

that tends to happen on Z9X pro too ,thou only isos from my testing

if the files are converted to .dsf mch they will play fine BUT still only in stereo

the rca or balanced DAC r/l outputs would go directly to your amplifier/receiver for stereo audio

Audio IN RCA Pin Jack (AUDIO IN) / 3.5 mm Stereo mini (AUX IN) / Opt-In (for LPCM)

you should get audio using the rca
quality wont be great im guessing but it would do til you got a more audiophile amp,if qualities important to you
