Folks, can somebody explain hot the automatic updating of media sources (cast/music/settings/scanning-> automatic update of sources) is intended to work? The option is activated. But ever several days after adding of new artists/albums to my media sources they still do not show up in the library. I see zero automatism here. Guess i still need to refresh my media sources manually to have the new media added?
I think the automatic updating starts at the beginning of the A6. If you start it and go on options, you can see a gauge showing exploration. Would be nice if that would work.... I have started/restarted my A6 several times without new media beeing displayed od deleted media beeing removed from the library:-( @Eric777: Were exactly do you see a gauge after starting your device?? If i go to LIBRARY in the app, directly after starting the device i only see "Scanned" behind each library. Still need to initiate the refresh manually.
Hi Reelyator. I've just done a screenshot for you. About one minute after booting, the A6 starts to update titles : Usually, I deactivated it because it will take a LOT of time (it is not very optimized!)
