New firmware v1.2.10 for DMP-A6 release

Did you by any chance renamed the zip file? I downloaded it twice and it renamed it with an (1) in the filename and that didn't worked either.

The added (1) is Windows doing its’ thing. You cannot have two files with the same name in the same folder, so the second download will be named (1). You need to use the file without (1).

Fixed!! Had to format the drive within DMP,

Even though I had formatted it through Windows 11 both with FAT32 and exFat it wouldn't pick the drive up, weird.

installed 1.2.10. Here my findings:

1. lower XLR output level: i need to put +3dB on volume to listen as previously.
2. OPTICAL-IN volume seems has volume difference from internal player
3. spectrum analyzer does not detect correctly high frequencies (perhaps needs some different scale factor related to volume?)

someone noticed similar issues?

 

Android App Version 1.11.18

Amazon Music no favorit song or artist can be chosen and marked.
When playing an album there is no way to skip from this to the artist to search and chose other albums or songs.

Like Tidal and Qobuz have the three dots on the right sight to the title to open the sub-menue

Do you have a very long wait time for a track to start playback?
Playing my playlist takes forever, playing a Amazon Music playlist not to bad. No artwork either.

 

A bit longer than Tidal or Qobuz. But no need to say it`s an issue.

 

This depends on the APIs of different services.

 

Amzaon music need negotiation with the DRM server to play each track, so it consumes longer time than others

 

That’s interesting, major lagging for me. Art finally loaded right at the end of the track, next track starts and last track art remains two tracks later.
Pretty much unusable at this point, oddly cast method worked well until today with the update?

 

Was working much better yesterday before this update, my Qobuz is working properly and Roon as well.

Well, update installed on all devices (eversolo, android, ios).

In principle, what I have been using works correctly, only the problem that already existed before and that they have not completely solved, is a shame.

When you play randomly on both Qobuz and Tidal, the playlist does not order it based on that mix, it leaves it as the original, so you don't know what song will play next.

The spectrum analyzer is very nice, but I think there are other things that should be worked on a little more, the Tidal options do not appear (unify volume, continuous playback, etc.).

Item 6 still isn't resolved. Beginning of tracks is cut off.

 

Digital output never have this problem, and mute is usually generated by the DAC. Check your external DAC
