I tried the same file on my Nvidia Sheild Pro and everything works.
I have tested multiple files and the same results.

All I can tell you is that from that the file you sent the MediaInfo screen from has one audio track and it's 5.1 DTS-HD and not DTS-X.

    DTS-X works fine here.

If you can snip a couple of minutes of the file and post to Mega and PM me the link I may be able to shed more light.

Can you point me in the direction of that file?

I just tried a DTS-X movie (Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift) and although the Zidoo reports as "DTS-HD 7.1 Channel 48khz" which is technically correct due to the transport codec, the receiver decodes correctly as DTS-X. And this file is XLL extension DTS-X.

Sorry my friend - missed your post.

I think no-one has answered because this is not a usual problem - maybe we need some more information.

but I thought I said everything, maybe the translator did not translate it correctly,
I mean that when making a pazy on a film, sometimes I can get a black screen and exit the film and I asked about the basic settings

Yeah I was only thinking about full bandwidth audio not EAC3.

I have tried this on 2 separate TV Vizio P75QX-H1 and Hisense 75U7G and they all have the same issue with the Zidoo Z9X, DTS_HD MA DTS:X pass-through as DTS.

That triggers "DTS:X MSTR" on my Denon.

Let's see what the EDID says:

Goto Settings/Display/EDID and "Save EDID" for each display and upload the files - you'll have to change the extension from .bin to .txt to post it here.

That's not something I've ever seen - maybe it's the file?

Recommended settings are in the first post of this thread.

I also tried it on my cinema setup which is 7.4.1 which obviously matches the file perfectly - the Z9X in there is still on v6.3.22 and that plays perfectly in DTS:X too.

OK but the audio track is DTS-HD and not DTS:X. Media info would look something like this for the audio

    Code:
    Audio #1
    ID : 4352 (0x1100)
    Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
    Format : DTS XLL X
    Format/Info : Digital Theater Systems
Commercial name : DTS-HD Master Audio
    Muxing mode : Stream extension
    Codec ID : 134
    Duration : 2 min 6 s
    Bit rate mode : Variable
    Channel(s) : Object Based
    Channel layout : Object Based

    Means DTS:X

Yes I know! You referring to media info from MY video! The one posted by YOU was DTS-HD MA and not DTS:X.

    No probs.

So I was kind of expecting this EDID to not contain a DTS-HD audio block - it wouldn't explain why the Shield works but certainly would have explained the Zidoo.

However, according to the EDID it fully supports DTS-HD (including DTS-X) and if I load it into my Vertex, the Zidoo will spit out DTS-X perfectly.

The only think I can think of at the moment is that you have HD Audio Downmix switched on:
