Just updated 1.0.7.5g ota, after the initial reboot I keep receiving the pop up screen new FW available. Switched off the z2000pro did a factory reset but it keeps re-appearing. For the time being if have switched off the update feature. Kindly advise how to ge rid off it entirely. Thanks.
I am going to remove the powerlead entirely for 15 minutes, let the capacitors drain fully. And than see what happens.
Just curious: did you try to re-flash it with the most actual version from today? There are three different versions of the firmware 1.0.75(_G) - I hate when developers do that... (=re-releasing a new version, with the same - i.e. previous number - which possibly contains additional fixes). Note: also a developer speaking here - but seriously... this is completely unprofessional and just causes more troubles in reporting problems when there are multiple differentiations of the same firmware out there...
When you leave on the auto fw update, each and every time you switch on the Z2000pro it gets offered fw 1.0.7.5. and it goes thru the entire moniton of updating the mediaplayer. After three times I switched of the auto Update flag, pending further feedback.
Please do not install leaked firmware until it is officially released. Also do not comment on unofficial firmware. If you receive an update repeatedly, it must be in internal testing
I don't get it. This firmware (1.0.75) is official or not? http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?thr...20-pro-z2000-pro-z2600-uhd5000-release.97500/
You are wrong, you've misconfigured the OTA server. I've got the updates from the OTA server yesterday, so they are not leaked.
More or less, it's continuous development. From time to time they can define a version as stable, but in the end it doesn't make any difference. The problem I see is that Zidoo is just totally nontransparent regarding updates and their product life cycles. https://www.mcbluna.net/wp/eversolo/eversolo-apk-version-overview/ EverSolo DMP-A6 >10 updates updates since May 2023 https://www.mcbluna.net/wp/zidoo-apk-version-overview/ RTD1619BPD released about 8-9 month ago, there have been ~4 firmware updates RTD1619DR ~2 updates in 2023. This also includes the NEO flagships for big money RTD1296 I guess end of life is reached
Yes, it's the public release, in this case via OTA. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if either Mirror or I release it, it's an official public release. If not, it's probably an internal.
