Oh nice a update i change my uhd 5000 without update for the 8000 beacause zidoo dosen’t developpe a good firmware yes 1100€ is not so mutch ! So i’m here now… thanks to futurland to upgrade my player and yes is true you dosen’t work for zidoo but you have many informations !

Nope.

 

If you select "Unmount" for the HDD inserted into the mediabox, the disk disappears from the file manager, but does not stop, but continues to spin. That is, safe removal of the HDD does not work. To remove the disk, you need to turn off the mediabox, but the disk stops very abruptly, as if the mediabox was pulled out of the socket

Thanks Zidoo team for the new firmware release although I've to wait while it's available in my area, normally 1-2 days later.

The big fixes in this one are the freeze issue and the standby issue - they were hard to nail down as they were so sporadic.

 

The movie cover interface has changed. I like the way it looks now better. Good update.

 

Again "no lyrics" playing audio on Music Player!

You have to add the lyrics yourself as lrc files and it does show them once you do.

No improvement on a few problematic blurays I have. Still the same issues - sigh.

 

16. Added RS232 long press command functionality. - what's that?

 

Still no gapless playback on flac files.

I play albums 95% of the time. It really hurts my ears.
