No - Z10 Pro is a 1619DR device so the correct file is in the HT sticky at the top of the 1619DR forum.
100% agree! Ive had my UHD 8000 for a little over a week. Poster wall wasn't working, downloaded the quick fix, now my UHD4K files are freezing. Definitely considering returning and looking elswhere.
Hello, when will the official fix come? It's been almost two weeks and the problem still persists. And no, I'm not downloading some beta version, this should have been an official fix and this would be unacceptable at any other company. You would think after spending $200+ on the device the software would be supported.
As it is not a firmware update but merely an updated file the version appropriate to your machine is v4.3.40 apk. Eventually, who knows when there is a general firmware update it’s quite likely the apk that runs HT 4.3.40 apk will be rolled into that firmware release along with other goodies. So update the single file that is HT.
No... How do I find that? I went to the 'Download' page for my model and the latest firmware there was from 2022... nothing later :-/

The thing is its a quick fix, a band aid. When is the permanent fix coming, also its been reported here that it causes other issues. have those been fully addressed. In other words are the quick fixes OK to use , or will they cause other issues? I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this. Are he quick fixes 100% safe?
Folks I need a little help here as I have many zidoo systems: 2x X9S, 2x Z9S & 2x Z9X. I can't seem to find the fixes for all of my boxes, is there a master link for all? One other note all of these also list HT5 all of my boxes are on HT4 do I have to upgrade that prior to the fix? I am on the most current official release on all of them...thanks in advance for the guidance!
So the fix initially worked for my z1000pro But now the posters are loading up very slowly if at all especially tmdb ones when uploading new titles. Has there been a new update i couldnt see ?
Yes and often if there is a very large firmware update it will be released on the forum as a d/l for installation via USB as it is often safer than the vagaries of OTA . Also often a quick fix is issued to overcome an immediate problem that will later be simply included in the much later released firmware update that clearly takes longer to test and develop. In my experience this is very common practise among media players. The old Popcorn Hour unit did this all the time, a big file always released as a usb d/l, small files via OTA. The other misunderstanding is imo the label beta, in reality nearly all releases are beta as invariably there will be another release post the so call “final”. I’ve installed every beta Zidoo has released on the forum (but from no other source) for my UHD3000 with no ill effect. A media player is not an appliance like a vacuum machine, just turn it on and away you go cleaning the carpet, there is a learning curve.
