TMDB connection

Hello all, is anyone having issues re-matching their library using TMDB?

 

No works really well for me. I use it for matching TV material as well because their volunteers seem to be quicker and more accurate than TVDB.

No, it's not model related. It's the same on Realtek boxes, so either Zidoo's API key or TMDB API itself.

Still down as of 7:30. Central standard time.

 

I was on the brink of factory reset Gents. Glad I held up my nerves! And using Z9X 8K by the way.

 

So is there anyway to get a different data base to hit, I keep seeing something about a tiny media manger running on a pc to sync to.

 

TMDB service status on the TMDB site shows no issues in the past couple of days, So it appears to be a Zidoo issue.

 

Down since yesterday on all 3 of my z9x pro units.
The TMDB api is up and available. Looks like a Zidoo issue. Probably their TMDB token has expired. TMDB api is not free and requires a token to be sent in the uri request header. If it’s missing, not valid or expired the api will return an error.
Zidoo… Wake Up !!!!!

 

TMDB is located in Calgary Canada, Zidoo in China, I hope this is not a Tariff retaliation thing?

I will run diagnostic on the Zidoo http connection later today and see exactly what error is returned by the api. Pretty sure it’s the token key…
