    When will there be a firmware update for Qobuz Connect?!
    Such as Tidal Connect.

    Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you'll be lucky if they do. firmware support for these older boxes is pretty much dead.

    Or if someone is able to get the MUSIC APK of the new zidoo box
    then we should be able to replace our old MUSIC APK

    Je souhaite installer la dernière MAJ v6.4.68_G (Google Play) sur mon Zidoo Z1000 Pro, mais aucun lien ne fonctionne (IDEM sur le site de Zidoo).
    Avez vous une réponse à me donner SVP.

    When can we expect new FW for these models please? The last update was nearly a year ago, and surely these models are not yet extinct? :)

    Bit late but with this release, with dts sound movies the sound is stuttering (all of them).
    I tried a reset but this built is what you get when you reset.
    Setting the sound setting on 2-channel LPCM fixes the stuttering but dts was working in the past (i have stutter with movies i watched ok before with the setting on automatic)

    is this the same problem with stuttering the new boxes have ? (and wanting to upgrade, does dts play ok on the Z3000 pro)

    Nope - I've never experienced audio stutter on the DR boxes and I used them for nearly 5 years, so not sure what to suggest.

    No - different issues on the new AML boxes - there's a DTS sync issue which I've never experienced and the devs can't replicate and a video stutter with DV which has now been fixed and will be released into the wild shortly. If it was me, I'd upgrade as the new boxes have far more to offer in terms of HDR flexibility and features, but that decision is entirely up to you.

    Hey guys. Does the v6.4.68 firmware include the fix to Home Theater? I recall there being a separate home theater apk that was sent out to fix a scraping issue. If I upgrade to v.6.4.48, do I still need that APK? Is v6.4.68 the latest firmware for the zidoo z9x? I have been out of the loop for a while. Thanks.

    Hey Jimbo! - you need to install the new apk as well - it's just an update to the HT app.

    Hi there,

    I am happy to inform you that Qobuz connect works fine on UHD3000. You just need to update the qobuz app installed on the streamer via Google Play.

    Then you launch the app on the streamer et voilà - you will see it appear in the device list of your Qobuz smartphone app and can pass the streaming to it, enjoying high-res audio and minimal lag.

    What you described is certainly a step forward, but it's not a real Qobuz Connect.

    It's just an opportunity to control the RUNNING application on the device from a smartphone.

    Tidal Connect works differently. It does not require installing and running the Tidal application on the device. And yet, while playing music, you see a large cover on the screen with the track name and audio parameters.

    There is also another important point: on my Zidoo Neo Alpha, this playback mode does not give true audio parameters. Everything is set to 24/192.

    I tested this by outputting audio to another DAC via USB output. But, If you listen to Qobuz using native Zidoo Control, the audio is transmitted with the original parameters.

    If you can, check how you're doing on the UHD3000?


    Result: We are waiting for the firmware for the real Qobuz Connect.

    Don't unzip, just copy to a USB stick, plug it into the Zidoo and use the update app (or go to "About" screen and update from there).
